It's been two years, two months and 24 days since I was last in England. After packing up my apartment, for what felt like an equally long amount of time (yeah I really shop too much, so many darn clothes!), we headed to the airport. It's a very long trip from Seoul to my hometown, we spent all Friday travelling but I finally made it. I'm home at last! The time difference means that despite not getting any sleep on the aeroplane I couldn't actually get to sleep when I finally did get here. When it hit 3pm this afternoon, which is midnight in Seoul, I could have easily called it a day though. Wanting to get jet lag over and done with as quickly as possible, I've forced myself to stay awake instead. I'm like a walking zombie right now. All in all I think I've had about six hours sleep in the last 48 hours. So it's best I stay away from writing too much, my brain is scrambled. In fact I'll be surprised if what I've just written makes sense. I'll just leave you with some photos I snapped on my journey, it's safer.
Back when I looked alive - setting off to the airport. I don't want to show you what hours of travelling does to me, it's not a pretty sight. Gold spiked bangle & feather necklace - F21. Heart cord bracelet - Swarovski. |

Home at last. You can spot a couple of my duty free purchases in this snap. |
I've been through Amsterdam airport a few times before. It's definitely my favourite airport to transfer through because they have awesome duty free stores. I always feel the need to take advantage of the duty free prices even when I don't actually need anything. I guess most people end up buying something in duty free for the same reason, am I right? Do you usually buy something or not?
On this occasion I bought some perfume, always a necessity in duty free; a few OPI nail polishes because I have a bit of an obsession developing; some MAC stuff because I already am obsessed and a couple of things for family and friends. The airport was so festive, it really got me in that lovely holiday mood. I even indulged in a toffee nut latte from Starbucks, seriously yummy and a very welcome caffeine hit.
Ten of them couldn't even keep me awake now though so I'm off to bed. Goodnight from me. I hope you're having a lovely weekend.

I usually buy something in a duty free shop as long as I have enough time, because usually I am late and running for my plane! I hope you have a nice rest tonight. xo
