How was your weekend? I had an especially great weekend thanks to two of my lovely friends. We headed to
The Restaurant, Bar & Grill, which not so surprisingly is a restaurant, bar and urrrmmm....grill?! Did the name give it away?! We started our evening early (
very early in fact - 4pm) as we knew we'd have loads to catch up on.
Since I just got my Miu Miu bag I decided I'm going to try to make the most of the fairly extensive wardrobe I already have for a while! So I chose to wear my
snakeskin print tunic dress with leggings. The leggings were because, quite honestly...it is indecent as a dress! Plus, this was supposed to just be a casual dinner and a drink or two. I should have known a girls reunion would never end up
just like that!

We headed on to two more bars after this...so much for the casual dinner and a couple of drinks!
Living abroad in Korea has plenty of perks but it's wonderful to be home with old friends for a while, laughing and catching up. There's a saying, 'good friends are like stars, you don't always see them but you know they'll always be there', it's so true. I've been away over two and a half years but it feels like I never left.

I am in LOVE with that glitter nail polish! How can you not smile every time you look down at your nails?! So fun. I need to get something like that ASAP. I wonder if OPI has something similar?

DeleteI think OPI's 'Rainbow connection' is the most similar. It's a bit more silvery but almost a complete dupe!

They were, dangerously! They tasted more like fruit juice than something alcoholic, I could happily drink them non-stop :)

DeleteI haven't tried many Nars polishes but this one in particular seems to wear pretty well. It doesn't chip off my nails but does wear away along the end of the nail after a couple of days.
Definitely post about your weekend, I always like reading what people do with theirs!

ReplyDeleteBoth of the nail polishes can be purchased in the UK yes. You can get Deborah Lippmann from House of Fraser or via Amazon (thats how I got my set). Nars have an online shop you can use and that also shows locations of shops that sell it too. Think Space N.K always sells NARS products.
