I'm camera-less currently (it's in the service centre) and I found out yesterday that I'll be staying this way until Monday, unless anyone has a spare one laying around?!
As a result I haven't been able to take any new photos this week and it's put a bit of a dampener on my blogging. Nothing too fun about a picture-less post is there?!
Well, this evening I decided to have a little dig through some of my old pics and see what I had. Boy oh boy that was a treat!! I found a couple of real gems, many of which aren't fit for the blogsphere to be honest. The pic above was a bit of fun Steve and I had with Photo Booth when I first got my Mac. It has to be done once! I'm going to put together a little selection of some of my favourite old snaps and post that tomorrow.
In the meantime, I have a one time photo treat for you lovelies! I actually don't want it polluting my main screen. To be honest, I'm not even sure why I'm going to show you! But here I am doing it anyway... if you're curious, click below to see the photo in question.

Yey, I'm so glad you got them already! I just painted my toes with Candy Shop yesterday evening, can't wait to wear sandals now, it so pretty, hope you'll enjoy wearing it as much as I do!

ReplyDeleteBtw I want to say that there are a lot of people that felt "ugly" when they were smaller. I too felt that way and I'm glad you feel gorgeous now, because you are. However, I've see your photo in your about me and I have to say you were never ugly. I think everyone is different and that's what makes them beautiful :) You are lovely now and then. Continue blogging because I'm in love with your blog!

Aw, thanks lovely! I think everyone has the odd photos that they feel they look ugly in. 99% of the time though you don't look it to anyone else though! Your hardest critic is yourself!

ReplyDeleteWhat do you think has helped transform you - do you think it's natural as we grow up or are there any styles, looks tips or tricks you've learnt to be gorgeous? :-)
I think it's partly natural and partly about making the most of yourself. I'd say the important tips is getting a good hair style/colour and learning what make up works for you best with your colouring etc. I also think penciling in your eyebrows if you have fair hair makes a big difference to your face, when I started doing that I felt like I looked quite a bit better, helps to frame your eyes and give your face more structure.

The boy you guessed is actually my brother, a lot of people say we look very similar though, almost like twins. I'm not sure if thats bad for him or I?!! Hehe :)

I wish I could but something is up with my phone camera too, it doesn't focus properly. Otherwise that would be exactly what I'd do! I'm going to get an upgrade shortly, it'll be good to have the option again! :)

I'm gonna guess you're the 'boy' at the back on the right. I'm guessing this because I went through a stage when I was about 11 when my hair was so short, and as I wore no make-up, I was mistaken for a boy. hence, my obsession with make-up perhaps?? haha. My camera is also getting repaired, and I do feel a little lost without it. I may have to take inspiration from this post and do an 'memories' one!
