Christmas At Mine // 2013

17 December 2013

Just a peek into how my place is looking for Christmas. Initially everything was white and silver but as chic as it looked, it just somehow wasn't feeling festive enough. The sunshine and average daily temp of 28 degrees probably isn't helping. So, I decided to add a few pops of red: poinsettas at my door, red stockings at the foot of our bed and a few red decorations here and there in the living room (and a few sweet treats) and suddenly it felt a lot like Christmas. Sooty's even looking festive - he gets so excited to wear his Santa suit, you've never seen anything like it, it's so funny and cute! I guess he knows it's Christmas, hehe! :)

Just eight sleeps to go. What's on everyone's wish list?

    1. Thank you so much :) Red really is the only true Christmas color for me. It isn't really Christmas without a bit of red! x

    1. Isn't he! I don't leave him in it all the time just pop it on him for a bit. But for some reason whenever I take it out of his cupboard he gets sooo excited. He actually tries to get himself into it too. It's so funny, I should make a video! x

  4. Your home looks like a fairytale Amelia! the red definitely helps with feeling festive :) I'm spending christmas in Cuba so I think I'll feel the same way as you next week haha but for now there is lots of snow here so I still get to feel the Christmas in the traditional sense. On my wish list is a pretty Celine bag but I'm sure it will remain there hehe a girl can dream though!

    1. Thank you dear :) Ooooh, Cuba sounds amazing!! But yes, somehow hot weather and sunshine just isn't Christmas, especially coming from England! haha!

Which Celine are you wishing for? I have a few pretty bags on my wishlist too, but like you I'm pretty sure that's the only place they'll be staying for quite a loooong time. Santa is sadly just not rich enough for all us ladies! hehe!
