It seems I'm developing a habit of posting about my rather casual Sundays lately. Forgive me please, I am going to wear something other than leggings soon I swear!! Although the outfit isn't anything fancy, just simple and comfortable, this Sunday could not go unmentioned. You see....
..this Sunday something terrible happened! My dear laptop met his maker! Yes, I'm sad to say, after several long years of friendship, he's gone. I was heartbroken, angry and sad...how could he just go and leave me like that?!
That lasted about a minute because then I realised the time had finally come to get a Mac!
I've been dreaming of a beautiful, sleek and most importantly efficient Mac for a long time. Plenty of evenings have been spent cursing at my old laptop when it decided to freeze up right in the middle of a blog post. Do you know the feeling? Despite that, I couldn't justify the outlay of cash though when teeeechnically my laptop was still useable even if it was very temperamental. Now though, like it or not, I had to get a new laptop...
So off I went to the Apple store to pick up the most practical purchase I've made in a long time!

I'm pretty excited and I'm hoping this signifies the end of my recent computer frustrations. Now I've just got to work out how to use the thing, one small problem....the manual is all in Korean!
Anyone a Mac user? Please let me know if you have any essential tips or pointers! :)

I am dreaming about a MacBook. I am sick of changing laptops every 2-3 years. My next one will be a MacBook for sure.

ReplyDeleteWe have been Apple users in our house since the beginning of time, well, not that long, but almost. Apple has all of their user manuals online. Check it out at the above link and happy massing! Love my iMac desktop, my Macbook pro, and the iPad. Yes, you could say we are Mac geeks.... enjoy! Oh, and love leggings all the time!!

ReplyDeleteI was the same. Its only because my laptop died that I figured I might as well spend the extra bit to get a mac. I'm so glad I did. I'm already getting used to it and it's great! :D

I LOVE my Macbook Pro. It took a little getting used to. I still kind new things out every time I'm on it!

ReplyDelete- you can't right click, so hold two fingers on the trackpad over a link until the menu comes up.
- You can do all your passwords, backgrounds and other settings in system preferences!

Completely jealous! :) I use to have a little white macbook, but I lost it in my "divorce". Which was just a bad breakup, where my ex held all the things I loved most hostage.. And I didn't fight him, because I was incredibly dumb tbh! lol But that's a long story..

Congratulations on getting a Mac!!! I am a HUGE fan of the MacBook Pro. It's seriously the best decision I've ever made, and I'm sure you will think the same. It all started when I was doing a really big project for school, and my PC completely crapped out on me... I haven't looked back since. Lol, I'm literally so excited for you, I'm such a fan of Apple.
