I love Christmas for so many reasons but especially because it's a chance to add some extra sparkle to my apartment. White and silver decorations accented by the warm light of candles (and of course fairy lights) look so pretty! Every year the decoration in my apartment spreads a little further. This year the Mr and I had a Christmas craft night when we made our own initial shaped tree ornaments and a DIY table centrepiece using pine cones and a lot of white glitter. It was so simple to do but I love the end product. I'm so pleased with how our living room has come together this year so I thought I'd give you guys a little peek at it.

As if I wasn't already excited enough about Christmas, on Friday, a surprise Christmas care package from my mum arrived! It was packed full of chocolates, mince pies and other edible goodies from home, along with some beautiful Laura Ashley red and white decorations. We spent Saturday decorating our bedroom with those and some red ornaments we already had. Then, we began to make a dent in the cupboard full of treats we now have!
How's your weekend been? Have you done much decorating? Please feel free to leave a link to your blog if you've written a post about it, I'd love to see what everyone else has done!

How come, does she really love decorating?? My mum is the opposite, she hates decorating. When my brother and I were younger we used to always do it as a surprise for her when she went out for dinner or something. Nowadays she doesn't really do much by way of decorating though! Not long till Christmas now though! EEEk! :)
